Watch elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, lions, hyenas, warthogs and impalas frolic within the plains. You should also see baboons, hippos, kudus, monkeys, water bucks, wildebeest, bush babies, mongooses, duikers, steenboks, klip springers and bats too. There’s a chance you might also catch sight of leopards, wild dogs, cheetahs, antelopes, foxes, rhinos, honey badgers, porcupines, rebooks, aardvarks and aardwolves. Upon arrival you’ll check in to the lodge.

Today you’ll get a closer look at some of the mesmerizing animals mentioned above during a full-day game drive. Take plenty of photos and prepare for your jaw to hit the floor as you get up close to some of Africa’s most beautiful wildlife.

Following breakfast you’ll head to OR Tambo Airport ready for your flight to Cape Town. Upon arrival, one of our representatives will meet you and take you to the hotel.

Breakfast will be followed by a half-day tour of Mother City, kicking off with a scenic coastal drive through Clifton and Sea Point and later passing the Houses of Parliament, the Castle and the SA Museum. You’ll also see District Six, Bo-Kaap, Slave Lodge and Green market Square before taking a cable car ride (entrance is included) up the exquisite Table Mountain (should the weather be too bad this will change to Signal Hill), offering breath-taking views of the city. Then return to your hotel and enjoy an overnight stay.

After a delicious hotel breakfast, you’ll set off on a full-day tour of the Cape Peninsula to witness la crème de la crème of this marvelous region, dubbed often as the Fairest Cape. You’ll make your way past Sea Point, Campus Bay and the famous beaches of Clifton and Llandudno towards Hout Bay, driving along the Atlantic Seaboard and passing through Noordhoek and Scarborough.
Afterwards, you’ll visit the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and enjoy a funicular ride aboard the “Flying Dutchman” and its spectacular views. You’ll also be able to take some pictures at the second southernmost tip of the African continent and also stroll along the exquisite Boulders Beach, home to a colony of Jackass Penguins. You’ll have a quick stopover at the naval port of Simon’s Town and learn about the Royal Navy’s Great Dane Dog, “Able Seaman Just Nuisance”, before returning to the hotel.
